Huron Centennial Public School Home

Home

Huron Centennial Public School is a K-8 school, located on 30 plus acres of property in rural Ontario. It is with gratitude that we share this natural setting and we are honoured to serve this community of learners and to be part of this wonderfully kind, caring, and compassionate school community with a dedicated, supportive, and professional staff.  On behalf of our entire school staff, we are excited to welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year.

We have grown to 17 classrooms, including three full day learning classrooms with Teacher/Early Childhood educator teams and our natural setting allows students many opportunities to extend their learning outdoors.

At Huron Centennial, we work to actively create an equitable and inclusive learning environment where all students feel a part of the school community.  This year, we will be supporting over 400 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. We believe that learning is a responsibility shared by the school, students, home and the greater community. Our focus remains squarely on our students, and working towards the key priorities outlined in our AMDSB  Strategic Plan, related to the pillars – I Am Well, I Am Prepared, and I Am Engaged.  We are excited to continue to grow our community connections as each of our classrooms have the opportunity to extend their learning outdoors and use our natural world as an extension of their classroom.

If you would like to join our Huron Centennial volunteer community, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or the office staff.  We require a current Vulnerable Sector check from all individuals hoping to volunteer in the school.  These remain valid for a 2 year period, and can be obtained from the police service that supports your local area.

Whether you are new to Huron Centennial this year or you have shared your children with us for many years, thank you! We look forward to another successful year ahead.
